Night yoga

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Maja is so full of energy this days, that last evening she went out and did some yoga. It was so dark that I had some serious problem to focus my camera. In the end I had to use my head torch to get enough light…

Rannveig, my youngest sister called me this morning and asked if we wanted to go climbing with her. We haven’t been climbing together for a long time, and I was amazed about how good she has been:-) On the the picture below you can se here do a tricky move on Boromir. We had brought a stove, so after we had finish climbing we sat down, made dinner and watch the sunset….. FANTASTIC!!!!

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

The weather lately has been fantastic, and we have now started the outdoor climbing season!!!!
Julsundet is my nearest crag, and I use to be there a lot.. It’s a really nice place, and as you can se, we have the sun there until it disappear into the ocean:-) In summer time that means around 11 Pm.
Another nice thing about Julsundet is that you can basically climb there all year round.

Søndre Vengetind

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

Kvandalen is a beautiful valley located in Isfjorden in Romsdalen. I had never been there before, and was amazed about how wild it was. Our goal for the day was to get on top of Søndre vengetind. It’s a far walk to get there, but when you’re at the top and you look down… It’s well worth it:-)

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

This weekend National championship for climbing was arranged in Molde. Saturday was for the senior climbers, and Sunday for junior climbers.
People from all over the country was gathering to join the competition.
The people who had put up the routs had done a great job. Not to hard, or to easy..

And a big thanks to all those ho has been working day and nights to make this competition possible. It has been a loot of work..

Here is Magnus Mittbø on the final rout. You can see the anchor up and to the right in the picture. He did some couple more moves before he fell of. That was more than enough to win the championship. People think the final rout was around 8B+. That’s hard… And he almost sent it:-)
