Frode and I have been talking about Juratind for such a long time now. Seven years ago we almost reached the top, but ran out of time and had to go down.. So every winter we have been talking about that next spring we should go. That trip was also the trip I decided to buy a split board. I remember following frode in my snowshoe’s, sweating… Watching him cruising up the steep hills on his split board. For those who doesn’t now. Split board is a snowboard that you can split in half. You walk up on a pair of skis, and on the top you put it back into a snowboard:-)
Normally it’s not so many people visiting Juratind, but today there was a lo of people heading that way. Lucky for us. At the top we got a lot of fog, and couldn’t se more than five-six meters in front of us. Without the track to follow we would have been forced the go down.

Here is Ane on the ridge before the top. It’s steep on both side…

The fog cleared up and we could catch a glimpse of the magnificent view:-)

My sister Rannveig at the top. Fogy!!!

I gave my camera to øyvind, and he took this picture of us on the ridge.
